John Witherspoon does Bob Dylan + Grace Harvey + Marc Rooney

John Witherspoon
A Liverpool singer-songwriter inspired by The Beatles, Paul Simon, and Bob Dylan. He’s released three albums – ‘Showin’ up, Startin’ Again’ (2020), ‘Heart in, Head Out’ (2023), and ‘One of Them’ (2024) – and is a regular presence on the Merseyside scene, playing venues like The Cavern and The Jacaranda.

A Bob Dylan fanatic, John presents an hour-long journey through the legendary songwriter’s rich and varied catalogue, including classics like “Like a Rolling Stone,” “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “The Times They Are a-Changin’,” and “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.”

Grace Harvey

Grace Elizabeth Harvey is a competition-winning, PRS-funded singer-songwriter and cellist based in Liverpool. Her debut EP, Other Faith, released in May 2025, established her sound that can be best described as avant-folk, characterised by harmonically intricate guitar, conversational, wandering vocals and playful, unconventional lyricism.

Her debut year brought two UK-wide tours, including a break into London’s grassroots folk scene, sharing stages with the likes of Josienne Clarke, Villagers, James Yorkston and Florist. She won the Young Songwriter’s Competition 2025 and has since been awarded the PPL Momentum Accelerator Fund for her next upcoming EP, Songs of Devotion.

With a penchant for exceptionally captivating live performances, receiving praise from national press (BBC Introducing, Still Listening, Narc, Fatea, Folking) and grassroots fans alike, Grace is quickly proving herself to be one of the UK’s finest emerging songsmiths and a ‘new name to watch’ (FATEA).

Marc Rooney

Indie singer-songwriter originally from Glasgow and now living in Clitheroe, also performing as Bright Light Rooney. Marc brings alternative folk storytelling and original songs to complete this triple bill of acoustic songwriting.
