Made In Blackburn

A night celebrating the music being made right here in our town.

Join us at Mee Maws for a community-focussed evening of live music from artists from Blackburn and the surrounding area – from people taking some of their first steps on stage to more familiar faces from the local music scene.

We’ll have a new artist taking to the stage every few minutes, each performing a couple of songs across three blocks of live music.

Expect a diverse range of music, a good bar, a selection of pasties and excellent company, followed by a DJ to finish the night.

We’re opening a limited number of slots for local artists to get involved.

You don’t need loads of experience, an established profile or professional recordings. If you’re making music locally and fancy getting up and performing a couple of songs, we’d like to hear from you.
